This yellow-lipped krait glided past me, pushing her head into every nook and cranny in the reef. I raced to keep up, snapping photos each time she emerged. She was about 4 feet long; males are about 2 feet long. She had a paddle tail and was a quick and agile swimmer, and completely ignored me. Kraits are remarkably venomous, and usually curious, but very rarely attack humans.
